How much is the MBA program?

The total cost of the program is $32,800, in which you launch your dream business in partnership with a successful entrepreneur as your mentor for 18 months, and get an MBA degree at the same time.

Is this an accredited course?

Yes. The MBA degree is launched in partnership with William Jewell College in Kansas City and is fully accredited and recognised by the Higher Learning Commission.

Do I need an existing business idea?

No. The early week of the program will encourage all students to work through a specialist business ideation stage.

Question 4

How will it be assessed?

Accepted Answer

Students will not be required to write essays, dissertations or sit exams. All assessments will be based on the practical application of knowledge to your business idea. For example, the quality of your business plan or investor pitch deck.

Is there foreign travel included?

Accepted Answer

No. Students will need to pay extra if they want to participate in the trips to Oneday's global launch houses.

Question 6

Will I need to invest my own money?

Accepted Answer

No. The course will cover a range of different ways to fund the development of your business, including accessing small-business loans from a government backed-bank, and pitching for investment from business angels and venture capitalists.

What happens if existing users decide to change their business idea during the course?

Accepted Answer

Pivoting your business is a core part of the entrepreneurial process. Most people will do this during the course of the program, it's something to be embraced.

Can I request moving to a different mentor once the program begins?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We will always try and match you with a mentor who has built a business in a similar industry. That said, sometimes ideas change, or founders and mentors don’t click. If you want to move to a different mentor, please contact the Customer Experience team (from the ‘Help’ widget in the bottom right-hand-side of the Oneday platform) and we will send you some great options to choose from.

What is your refund policy for the William Jewell MBA program?

The MBA program at William Jewell is cohort based, offering an 18-month curricular path to the MBA degree. Once the College commits to the number of students in any cohort, the costs associated with that program are fixed. Therefore, refunds are limited except as provided below. Each cohort is billed in four terms. Students who withdraw from the program: Without having attended the first term will forfeit their enrollment deposit. On or before the first day of Class for any term will not be charged tuition or fees for that term or subsequent terms. During the first week of Class of the first term will receive a 90% refund of tuition charges for that term. Any fees assessed are not refundable, but the student will not be billed for the subsequent terms. After the first day of class during the second, third or fourth term will be responsible for paying 100% of the tuition and fees billed for that term. They will not be billed for subsequent terms.
